AWOL No. 4 Studies


I am currently on the road so today's post will be a quickie of some studies done for an upcoming digital painting demo in Utah.

  1. There's something amiss with the link: the text is correct, but the backing url points to the main Muddy Colors site.

    What mediums did you use for this? Pastels? Pencils (maybe 2b or less)?

    Beautiful stuff.

  2. Good catch Anonymous. I got my red wires and blue wires mixed up.

    The medium was Derwent Drawing Pencils on toned paper. The pencils have a great smooth feel and can give nice irregular line with a lot of character to it.
