  1. It seems like the goblin heads could use a little variety - both in shape and in orientation. I see four heads that look essentially identical. Perhaps this is inevitable in a giant battle scene, but it's something to think about.

    What type lead are you using at this stage?
    Is this on the Strathmore 500 series?

  4. The lead is mostly HB and 2B at this point. I am using 500 series for the paper. I don't like to use any of the H leads for these because they tend to etch into the bristol, leaving tiny valleys that will take the later watercolor in strange ways.
